We proudly welcome talented artist Gabriel Deb to Young Society Records. Gabriel is a huge fan of Pet Shop Boys and It’s a Sin is one of his favorite songs from the 80’s. It brings a religious and sexual approach with a sarcastic tone - all that he loves about when writing lyrics. So he decided to make a dance version of it. It was difficult because It’s a Sin is a fantastic tune. However, he enjoyed recreating the synths, combining them with new drums. To work with the singer - who’s got a Depeche Mode vocalist kind of timbre - was also an interesting process for Gabriel.

With an impressively infectious blend of striking genres and era-defining sounds, Gabriel Deb is a DJ & Music Producer making brilliant waves in club scenes across the world.

Mixing soulful house grooves with shimmering disco, 80’s pop, and raw lyrical themes dealing with sexuality and religion, Deb has created his own thoughtful but intrinsically fun and sexy sound that meshes musical cultures and generations; bringing people together in the true essence of house music.

Deb represents this unique tone and approach with a vast array of influences, including Gilles Peterson, Miguel Migs, Mousse T, Moby, Crazy P, Mike Dunn, Peter Rauhofer, MTV and NASA.

Currently based in Dubai, Gabriel holds long term residencies at the world famous Burj Al Arab (Sunset Sessions) and Amazonico. Following incredible shows in Marbella (Ocean Club), São Paulo (D-Edge) and Berlin (Watergate); Gabriel has also shared stages with Buena Vista Social Club and has been featured in the Art For Freedom project, hand selected by Steven Klein and Madonna.

As the touted return of mainstream dance music grows through cultural keystones like Drake and Beyonce, 2022 sees Deb standing at the forefront of artists feeding a new generation of listeners this timeless sound. Gabriel Deb is your one stop shop for racy house and heaving dance floors.
