As our buddy & trailblazer in music, we like to share our upcoming release in free download with you to check out and play two weeks before official release on all digital platforms and 12" vinyl.
Marseille-based Alaix Pulse unveils Moaï, the first single of his forthcoming 6-track EP due for release this summer on KROOKS Records, with the great San Miguel providing a hefty and iconic remix. Fascinated by African rhythms and heavily influenced by 90ies pop-rock culture, Alaix Pulse has been able to convey emotion and feelings with music. Drawing inspiration from natural elements and the animal life that surrounds us, he forces himself to go off the beaten path and find new ways to engage people into his music. KROOKS Records is proud to release this beautiful first single + remix.

I like the SM remix, because it has distorted voices. Maybe the snippets are a bit short for these kind of tracks to get a good understanding of how they evolve. They show potential, but have a slow build up. |
