Description
Neil Chin grew up in San Francisco, CA, and was musically influenced at a young age by genres such as rap, r&b, funk, and 80's/90's pop. He fell in love with electronic music when he attended his first underground rave as a teenager in the early 00's and became immersed in the rave scene. Shortly thereafter he became a vinyl DJ and started spinning at underground parties across the San Francisco Bay Area. His passion for the music eventually lead him down an exploration of learning the DNA and makeup of dance music and eventually starting his own productions. His style is an eclectic of underground genres such as deep, soulful, funky, and jackin house. He has an unwavering passion and dedication to creating underground house music with one essential goal in mind: to make people dance and feel good.

These tunes have a satisfying complexity - all of the elements blend together very well. A really welcome change from a lot of tunes described as 'deep house' which are quite dull. Soul Mates has a bit of a D-Train feel to it. Ride On It is my favourite because it is so different. |
