Justin Samgar and Josh Dupree release their debut EP 'Sputnik' under their alias 'SpaceAgePoetry' on KROOKS Records. Samgar is a Dutch poet and storyteller who grew up in a cult group, struggled as a young adult and decided to break out. SpaceAgePoetry is an attempt to translate this journey into music. 'Sputnik' is a reference to the first satellite launched in 1957, heralding the Space Age. The EP takes you on a Space Age journey where slow electronica, mysterious spoken word, and psychedelic sounds collide. The tracks are collaborated productions by Dialoque, Hessel Stuut (Polynation), Arjuna Schiks & Myrthe v/d Weetering as fellow travelers.
